DR HOLLY PRESCOTT

CO-ARTISTIC DIRECTOR

 

Holly has a Masters degree in Literature and Cultural Studies from Lancaster University, during which she also undertook theatre skills training with The Drama Factory. She has a PhD in English Literature from the University of Birmingham, where she currently works in the area of Career Guidance and Employer Engagement. She recently completed a Visiting Fellowship at the Ohio State University, U.S.A., and regularly performs stand-up comedy in and around the West Midlands.

 

After having the opportunity to act as Casting Director for Lady Inger (Jump Cut Productions) and Emilia Gallotti (Ottisdotter, 2014) and Associate Director for The Feast of Solhaug (Ottisdotter), Holly is delighted to be returning to the Ottisdotter fold as Artistic Director. She and Director Mark Ewbank have been friends for twenty years, and studied Drama and Theatre Studies together as teenagers. ‘Keep your friends close, but your co-Artistic Directors closer,’ Holly concludes.
